From 2001-2011, the National e-Science Centre and e-Science Institute at The University of Edinburgh were a focal point for the international e-Science community to meet, exchange ideas and work on a broad collection of e-Science topics. Many breakthroughs in e-Science technologies and techniques have come about through collaborations formed at the many meetings, events and visits that were hosted at our headquarters in South College Street, Edinburgh.

The University of Edinburgh is very proud of the achievements of NeSC and eSI and would like to thank everyone who engaged with them. This website is provided for the e-Science Community's use as an archive of the talks and other information that continue to provide useful reference points today.
