Model Sharing and Co-simulation Standards for System Biology

System Biology Standards

The need for data-compatibility standards in Bioinformatics has been widely acknowledged. Standards are just as badly needed in the emerging area of computational modelling of biochemical networks. We have developed the necessary software infrastructure and community alliance for collaborative development of standards for static (text-based) and dynamic (run time) model sharing between simulation:analysis programs. We seek funding to enable community-led evolution of these standards during the infancy of this fast developing research field.
