Genealogies of Knowledge-Developing Anthropological Middle-Ware to Support Fieldwork-Based Social Science

The main aim of this project is to design and deploy support for components of key research processes in fieldwork based social science. In particular, supporting bibliographic research, interactive collection and aggregation of data within the fieldwork segment, access to and aggregation of external data from the fieldsite, and aspects of consolidation, analysis, modelling and dissemination from the institutional base. The main objectives of this project are; (i) to develop XML-based resources to support the research process for fieldwork based research; (ii) to investigate ways of referencing the derivation of different basic or derived data; (iii) to connect the middleware with context sensitive portable devices.
