EPIC - e-Science Portal at Imperial College

The goals of this project are to develop an e-science portal to support high throughput computing within the Imperial College Grid. This portal will provide transparent access to the local federated computing resources, enabling the e-scientist to launch large multi-task jobs onto these resources. These jobs will be mapped to resources in an optimal manner by a scheduler that balances the specified needs of all the users and their jobs, while respecting the restrictions specified by the resource providers.
