Abstract: As an essential functionality of data mining for environmental hazard monitoring for Discovery Net application, we have developed NCC and FFT phase correlation combined fast algorithm and software to implement very demanding processing of imageodesy on MPI and GRID. The imageodesy is a technique for measuring horizontal shift of land surface features caused by earthquakes, etc. using optical sensor images. A case study of a major earthquake along Kunlun fault in the north part of Tibetan Plateau revealed stunning patterns of regional left-lateral strike-slip as the result of the co-seismic shift.
