Abstract: This paper will give an overview of the web portal interface developed for RealityGrid steering applications. The portal is constructed using easily extensible Gridsphere " portlet " technology. Bespoke portlets, implemented in Java, have been created to handle parameter steering. More challenging is to address the key question for the scientist: what does my simulation look like so far? This requires at least visualisation of snapshots of model state, and preferably animation.
