Abstract: This paper describes the searchable Solar Feature Catalogues developed using various image processing and pattern recognition techniques. The techniques were applied on solar images for automated detection of sunspots, active regions and filaments on the Ca II K1, Ca II K3, white light and Ha solar images from the Meudon Observatory and the SOHO/MDI. The results of automated recognition results tested by a comparison with the corresponding manual analyses and revealed reasonable detection accuracy. A structured database of the solar feature parameters for every feature was built as the catalogues on a mysql server.
