Abstract: The Multi-Sector Crisis Management Consortium (MSCMC) set out to examine how new information technologies such as the grid could prepare for, respond to, and mitigate local, state and national disasters, including natural disasters and terrorist attacks. One example is of ACCESS an advanced technology centre offering the Access Grid which could play a key role in the future of crisis management.
