Abstract: Astrophysicists are wanting to find out how long ago the surface of Venus hardened. They believe that craters will be the key but are first learning what asteroids go through in their 'lifetimes'. Simulations of impact are growing steadily in detail and once all the data has been interpreted, an insight to what is going on inside the planet could be obtained.
