Abstract: Grids enable the pooling of computing power to form a massive, distributed supercomputer. Applications running on a grid may require a large number of resources at any one time, thus needing simultaneous access to multiple supercomputers. This paper prescribes a general resource management architecture for systems frequently using resource co-allocation.
