Abstract: This article focusses on Parabon Computation Inc. which has 75,000 individual PCs all over the world. Parabon employs software called Frontier which splits up large-scale jobs into smaller chunks which these individual PCs can handle: crunching scientific data like this is an excellent use of otherwise dormant computer power.
