Overall aim: to promote a strategic vision for the development of services for children and teenagers with cancer in Scotland.

  • Inform participants of CATSCAN outcomes since Jan 2008 such as the development of the minimum dataset and AHP referral tools.
  • Propose future strategies for accessible patient data on long-term follow-up, ePrescribing, services for teenagers, the development of palliative care resources and national Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) working.
  • Invite discussion on future development

Outcome for the event: Informed decisions on future CATSCAN direction and priorities for service development.

Target Audience

This meeting is intended to attrack Cancer Clinicians from adult and paediatric NHS services from throughout Scotland. Paediatric outreach nurses, ward nurses, allied health professionals, parents and patients. Voluntary organisation representatives. Primary care, community health professionals.
