This meeting provides an introduction to the main techniques of computer simulation used for modelling alloy materials. In particular, it covers quantum mechanical simulations, classical molecular dynamics, dislocation dynamics, phase diagram calculation and finite element techniques.

Target Audience

This meeting is intended for students at the PhD level. Academic non-experts or beginners in computer simulation.
