The UK e-Science Core Programme's Architecture Task Force (ATF), which holds the remit of anticipating and addressing long term architectural issues in UK e-Science, will meet for the first time following the first biennial re-election of ATF members. Malcolm Atkinson (Chair) will take the opportunity to welcome new participants and thank existing members for their work over the previous two years. This meeting takes advantage of Steve Tuecke's visit to Edinburgh, who will be attending the meeting as a representative of GLOBUS and the OGSI/OGSA GGF Working Groups.
This event is by invitation only. If you have received an invitation please register using the link below.
The event will be hosted by the e-Science Institute in Edinburgh which is a centre for education and research for e-Science, and provides new state-of-the art facilities including an Access Grid system.
Travel: The e-Science Institute is less than 15 minutes walk from Waverley rail station, and from St Andrews square bus stations. It is approximately 20 minutes by taxi from Edinburgh airport (40 minutes by bus). Please see our web site for a map of the area.
