This event is presented by the UK Digital Curation Centre (DCC) in conjunction with the National e-Science Centre. This is a one-day workshop for people who are already knowledgeable about geospatial data use and management. Through informal presentations and discussions, participants will learn from and update each other on progress and best practices concerning the following areas:

Citing geospatial databases
Geospatial data formats and metadata
Geospatial repositories and storage

Target Audience

People who are already knowledgeable about geospatial data use and management, and are interested in curating (i.e., maintaining for the long-term) geospatial data collections
