The aim of the StoMP research network is to bring together microbiologists and modellers. This meeting will feature presentations by world-leading microbiologists and modellers, hands-on computer demonstrations and poster presentations. It will be a great opportunity to hear about the latest progress in the field, make contacts and set up collaborations. Target AudienceThis meeting is intended for PIs, postdocs and PhD students from microbiology, physics, maths and computer science communities. ProgrammeThis event is provisionally scheduled to start at 14:00 Monday 13 July 2009 and close at 12:00 on Thursday 16 July 2009. AccommodationAssistance with accommodation is offered once you have registered. We have prebooked 50 single ensuite rooms at Pollock Halls, Edinburgh, for the nights 13th, 14th and 15th July. These rooms are available without charge to conference attendees. Once all of the Pollock Halls rooms have been filled, we can provide assistance with finding guest house accommodation but attendees must pay for guest house rooms themselves. Please indicate on the registration form whether you would like to stay in one of the Pollock Halls rooms, if available. Please note that you must pay for any additional nights in these rooms. We are able to reimburse travel costs for conference attendees who are StoMP network members and who joined the network before 13th January 2009, up to a maximum of £100, subject to provision of receipts.
