Biography and Research Interests
Stuart Dunn is a Research Associate at the Arts and Humanities e-
Science Support Centre (AHeSSC:http://www.ahessc.ac.uk) at King’s
College London. At AHeSSC, he is responsible for developing and
coordinating activities within the sphere of e-Science methods, and
their implementation in the arts and humanities. Stuart works closely
with a range of individuals and organisations involved in developing
the UK Arts and Humanities E-Science Initiative’s programme and
associated activities, and disseminating e-science research outcomes.
Stuart received a PhD in Aegean Bronze Age Archaeology from the
University of Durham in 2002. He has published on topics in e-science
methods in general, on e-science in archaeology, and in the fields of
Minoan environmental archaeology and geospatial archaeological
computing. Among other things he is a member of the Silchester Roman
Town VRE steering committee, and a "Technical Observer" of the
Pleiades Project at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
He is also a Visiting Research Fellow in the School of Human and
Environmental Sciences at the University of Reading.
