Submission of Research and Experience Papers

Guidance

Papers addressing the following topics will be encouraged:

  • Experience and results of implementing or using the emerging Data Area standards
  • Data experiences in Grid Environments
  • Data Visualisation, Access, Integration and Transformation.
  • Data Discovery, Quality, Provenance and Metadata
  • Data Movement, Distribution, Caching and Replication
  • Data Management and Quality of Service
  • Data Recovery and Coordination

Things to Consider

Paper selection will be based on the objectives of the workshop. Please consider the following:

  • Members of GGF Data Area Groups
  • Are any requirements clearly addressed?
  • Is the terminology for your topic already well-defined and consistent across the data area?
  • Does your topic build on existing work or is in new R&D?
  • Is the interaction of your topic with other relevant GGF standards well understood?
  • Are the scale and dependability parameters of your topic well characterised/quantified?

Submission

Extended abstracts (PDF, 3-5 pages in length) should be submitted by 31st January 2004. Early submission would be appreciated. Acceptances will be notified by 14th February 2004. Full papers (PDF) should be submitted by 1st March 2004. You must register for GGF-10 to attend this workshop. Please submit extended abstracts and papers to ggf10-da-submissions@nesc.ac.uk.
