Welcome to the MSc website
The University of Edinburgh is a world-leading centre for research and development in distributed computing and e-Science. We want to tell you why taking our unique one-year MSc programme will further your career goals as a scientist, a computer scientist or a software developer. We will answer some of the questions we think you might have, but contact us if you want to know more.
- What is distributed computing?...and where is it used?
- What will I learn on the MSc?
- What can I do after the MSc?
- Can I study part-time?
- Why study this at Edinburgh?
N.B. The MSc in Distributed Scientific Computing was called the MSc in e-Science for sessions prior to 2009/10, and we apologise for any confusion caused by the existence of the two names, as we make the transition between them.
The Edinburgh Parallel Computing Centre (EPCC) also offer an MSc in High Performance Computing. Details can be found at http://www.epcc.ed.ac.uk/msc/
