Biography and Research Interests
Professor Richard O. Sinnott is the Technical Director of the National e-Science Centre at the University of Glasgow. He holds a PhD from the University of Stirling where his research was based on the architectural design of open distributed processing systems; an MSc in Software Engineering from the University of Stirling, and a BSc in Theoretical Physics from the University of East Anglia in Norwich. Professor Sinnott?s current research is focused around Grid computing and it?s application to solve e-Research problems across a variety of research areas with specific focus on security.
