Dear colleagues,
We are now starting to accept accommodation request for the User Forum.
The hotel situation in the Geneva area is very difficult due to the preparation of the Geneva Car Show and we urge you to contact us to be sure to use one of the reservations we have arranged with the CERN hostel and a few hotels on the French side next to CERN.
Please specify if you will come by car, which will give us a bit more flexibility in organising the transportation. Please note that most of the rooms will be available from March the 1st, therefore the start of the User Forum will be a bit delayed to allow people to arrive during the morning of the 1st.
We will naturally give priority to people having submitted an abstract!
The registration procedure is:
- Register on the User Forum web site
- Submit an abstract
- Contact me (Massimo.Lamanna@cern.ch), do not forget to specify if you come by car!
We shall distribute the hotel rooms and ask you afterwards to confirm to the hotel directly with your credit card number. Do not be alarmed if you see that your hotel is on the French side, we shall arrange with a shuttle service to take you there and back during the whole duration of your stay.
The absolute deadline is February 3rd and please note that the number of rooms is limited! After this date, we will release any unassigned hotel rooms and late applicants will have to organise accommodation themselves.
