Two British Computer Academics receive prestigious awards from the British Computer Society. Nicholas McKeown - currently with Stanford University in the United States - and Ian Horrocks of the University of Manchester received the 2005 Lovelace Medal and the Microsoft sponsored Roger Needham Award respectively, in recognition of their professional achievements in IT.
