?Data Curation for e-Science in the UK? The JISC Committee for the support of Research chaired by Tony Hey has released a draft report for consultation and would welcome feedback on its findings and recommendations. It is hoped the consultation process will raise awareness of the report and the major issues it addresses and provide feedback from researchers and curators to help in its finalisation and implementation.

Sister Projects Call. The e-Science Core Programme, managed by EPSRC on behalf of the other Research Councils, wishes to receive high quality proposals for travel and networking projects to establish links with leading Grid/e-Science projects from around the globe. This call, totalling approximately 300k, requests individual bids of up to a maximum of 40,000. A second call for links to Global e-Science Projects is anticipated in 2004. Proposals must be received by EPSRC by 5:00pm on Friday 8th August 2003.
