The Grid Technology Repository (GTR) web site was launched at GGF7 in Tokyo. The GTR is designed as a location for people to publish and discover work related to Grid Technology. The GTR is an international, community-driven effort, with contributions welcome from academia, industry and individuals without institutional affiliation.

First up on the new repository was the release 1.5 of OGSA-DAI. The OGSA-DAI project is a UK eScience project delivering Grid Services for accessing relational and xml databases. Release 1.5 is built on GT3 Alpha 2, which supports MySQL and XIndice. It is written in Java and uses the Tomcat hosting container. It has been tested on Redhat Linux 8, Sun Solaris 8, Microsoft Windows 2000/XP and IBM AIX.
The Grid Technology Repository was available at http://gtr.globus.org. Watch this space for a UK mirror at NeSC!
