SC2003 took place from the 15-21 November 2003 in Phoenix Arizona. The UK e-Science programme provided a demonstration and auditorium space showcasing UK activities in the exhibitor hall on 18-20th November.

Professor Malcolm Atkinson, Director of the National e-Science Centre reported

"The stand has been working really well. There is so much going on, on the stand this year, with lots of young enthusiastic researchers and developers, so it is engaging much interest. The talks, those by access grid from EPCC, and those given locally have drawn in a lot of interest and the team have done an excellent job of distributing our own version of 'The Big Issue'."
