Summer is upon us and things are certainly heating up for GGF5 (21-24 July - Edinburgh, Scotland) -- now is the time to confirm your plans to participate.

A few details about GGF5 - Global Grid Forum's 5th Meeting on Grid Computing:

  • GGF5 (21-24 July) will be held in conjunction with IEEE's HPDC-11 (24-26 July) at the Edinburgh International Conference Center (EICC) in Edinburgh, Scotland. Separate registration is required for HPDC11. Information about HPDC11 can be found at - http://www.extreme.indiana.edu/~gannon/hpdc/hpdc11.html
  • Advance Registration Rates are STILL available for both GGF5 and HPDC11 - offering $izeable $avings to onsite registration fees - follow the online registration process at http://www.globalgridforum.org/june1102/Meetings/ggf5/reg.htm
  • Eight (8) Tutorials on critical fundamentals and new approaches in grid computing have just been opened for registration. (Introduction to OGSA and Web Services, Grid Economies, and Security Issues in Grid Computing to name a few...)
  • GGF5 and HPDC11 Hotel and Travel information is easily available through the GGF5 website - HOTEL space is difficult to find and expensive during the summer - please book before 20 June through GGF5 in order to have confirmed rates and rooms!!!
