RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an easy way for you to keep up to date with information presented on websites. An RSS reader automatically detects when the RSS feed/channel has been updated, therefore you can be alerted to new information without revisiting the website. To make use of an RSS feed you need to get a program called a news reader. There are many news readers available and several websites now provide RSS feeds. The newsreader can be set up to display RSS information from your chosen websites. You should be aware when you are choosing a news reader that different readers work on different operating systems.
