The report analyses the current state of Grid and Cyberinfrastructure technology with respect to their use in e-Science, based largely on personal interviews with UK e-Scientists augmented with discussions with some European and US Grid experts. The report goes further than just identifying the gaps, it builds a possible development program, which aims to deliver by 2006 Grid technologies supporting the e-Science functionalities identified in the report.
