The NeSC Training Team is directed by Malcolm Atkinson. It embodies a wealth of training experience in a range of disciplines.

The Training Team at the National e-Science Centre (NeSC) creates and delivers training courses to encourage development, uptake and proficient use of e-Science technologies and infrastructure across industry and public service as well as in many fields of research.

The team was formed in April 2004 to continue and develop the NeSC tradition of providing high quality courses and to capitalise on opportunities arising from Grid initiatives in both the UK and Europe.

The NeSC Training Team is now know as Training, Outreach and Education (TOE).
